WHAT YOU'LL HEAR

In their own words

Some of the kinds of things you'll hear from the young leaders we've selected to share on Friday night — honest reflections on faith, work, and following God right where they're planted.

Removing the false divide between secular and spiritual has opened up so much more room to see God.

I'd been pursuing God outside of work — and missing that the work itself is worship.

I used to think you become successful first, then do ministry. God changed my perspective: this is the ministry, right now.

I used to believe full-time ministry was the holy path. Now I know the holiest place I can be is wherever God is calling me — even in the business world.

The workplace is a place for prayer. Everything belongs to the Lord — not just the church.

I now see my workplace as my mission field, and I pursue it with the heart of a Kingdom builder.

The same preparation I'd give to worship on Sunday, or to preaching a sermon, I now bring to how I walk into my workplace on Monday.

I used to live as if my personal life was where Christ was fully involved, and work was just where I got things done. Now I know walking with Jesus is part of the work.

The church isn't something you attend. It's something you are — wherever you're planted.

I'm young, and I'm building my career on a foundation of "God is present with me. God is in this." Some people spend forty years in business before they discover God could be in it at all.
